AATO Delegation Meets PCCF

Port Blair, May 29: A Delegation Of AATO led by its President Mr. M.Vinod met Mr. Tarun Coomar, PCCF, Department of Environment and Forest on Monday at his office and discussed various tourism related issues.

AATO submitted a letter to PCCF, requesting following grievances such as Opening of Swimming at Wandoor and Chidyatapu, Issue of Forest permits for Jollybouy/Red Skin Island at Wandoor also as practiced earlier, Plying of boats twice for Jollybouy/Redskin Island during peak season, Issue of all forest permits For Jollybouy, Baratang, Ross and Smith Island from the single window counter of Tourism Office, To Restart Scuba Diving activities at Chidyatapu.

The PCCF was kind enough to give a patent hearing to the Delegation and has assured to look into the points raised by AATO, in a release M.Vinod, President, AATO said.
