Anti Corruption Awareness for NCC Cadets

Port Blair, Jan 19: With support of Anti Corruption Department of A&N Police and following full COVID 19 protocols, Anti Corruption awareness Programme was held at JNRM for NCC Cadets of the Islands.  Shri Shivender Halder  SI  of Anti Corruption Department, A&N Police gave a deep insight on corruption activities and Anti Corruption measures to the cadets. Army & Naval NCC Cadets also expressed their views on the anticorruption.

Lt Col A.Vivekananda, Commanding Officer, 1 AN Indep Inf Coy NCC brought out practical examples of imminent personalities fighting corruption and appealed to the cadets to follow their example. Captain V K Trivedi (IN) Commanding Officer, 1(AN) Naval Unit NCC said that corruption in the society has been growing like a weed, which is adversely affecting our social system.

He added that it is our duty as responsible citizens to weed out the corruption from our society to make it better. He administered the anti corruption pledge to all cadets. He thanked A&N Police and Principal JNRM for facilitating the awareness programme for cadets at JNRM.

The function was steered well by SLt (Dr) Satyam Setia, ANO, who was MC of the function. The PI staff of both the NCC units contributed immensely to the conduct of the function. The function culminated with NCC Song and interaction of cadets with Guest Speaker.
