Port Blair, Jan 29: District Child Protection Unit (S/A) under District Administration organized workshop on Exam Anxiety and Recreational activity on 29th January 2021 at Love Children Home, Manglutan.
The main emphasis of the workshop was to create awareness amongst children about exam anxiety and how to cope with such challenges during exams.
Protection Officer (Institutional Care), initiating the programme with strategies that may help to reduce exam anxiety like prepare your mind for exam, give positive messages to your mind (I CAN, I WILL) relax your mind with breathing exercise and follow the tips to overcome exam anxiety.
Dance competitions was also conducted amongst the children. Altogether 76 children participated in the programme and the winners of the competition were awarded with prizes.
The District Administration South Andaman ensures to conduct such programs in the future at Child Care Institutions which would build up coping skills and to hold a positive attitudes while facing the exam.
