Port Blair, Apr 22: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Islands to make arrangements for sailing of ship for Campbell Bay for transportation of stranded peoples such as senior citizens, students, patients, businessmen and Govt. servants who are struck at Port Blair due to non availability of ship to Campbell Bay since last many days as they came to Port Blair from Campbell Bay for some urgent works of 3 to 4 days to go back immediately after finishing their works. Now they are facing hardship because of financial problems since they don’t have any money in their hands and unable to bear the expenses for their stay at lodges and food etc.
Mr. Sharma, MP also requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration earlier to arrange sailing of boat to Hut Bay to transport all the stranded peoples of Little Andaman who also stranded in Port Blair since many days due to non availability of boat.
