MP Demands early execution and completion of Rural Roads

Port Blair, Apr 19: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Secretary (APWD), A&N Administration for early execution and completion of Rural Road for a length of 270 mtrs starting from Babu Basthi to Ambe Tikrey at Ward No.3, Danduspoint under Namunaghar Gram Panchayat sanctioned under PMGSY-II. He informed the Secretary (APWD) that the contractor did the earthen work for few days and has stopped it since last two months and if the work is not complete before start of monsoon season, the villagers will face great hardship for their easy passage. Therefore, the MP requested to get the work completed before start of monsoon.
