Port Blair, Feb 01: The Andaman and Nicobar Islands have become Corona free for the third time and this time public demands Administration to honor the entire COVID-19 team, working under the direction of the Chief Secretary of A & N Administration.
In last Republic Day people were shocked to see that the COVID-19 team of Health Department was not honoured with LG’s Commendation Certificate despite their best efforts to bring down the total number of Corona cases in Andaman.
On 26 January 2021, only a section of Health Department and one other individual was honored with the LG’s commendation, which had not only left many Islanders disappointed but also might have deeply upset many dedicated Corona Warriors.
However this is the right time to honour all the COVID-19 warriors by honouring them with spot LG’s Commendation.
