Port Blair, Jan 25: Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands along with Mr. N.K Udhaya Kumar, State President, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands visited Campbell Bay, Great Nicobar Islands on 24th of January 2021.
Both the dignitaries were welcomed in a grand manner at Great Nicobar Island by the local Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and Karyakartas under the leadership of Mr. Sanjay Singh, State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Mr. Ajoy Bairagi and Mr. N,K Udhaya Kumar were welcomed at the Jetty by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. E.S Rajesh, District President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. N. Kiran, District Secretary, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. K.C Murugan, President, Mondal Committee BJP, Campbell Bay. Mr. Ajoy Bairagi and Mr. N.K Udhaya Kumar were escorted from Jetty to the house of Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh at Babu Lane Campbell Bay by a sea of karyakartas of Bharatiya Janata Party who were on their bikes with flags of Bharatiya Janata Party.
After Breakfast a rally was also organised all over Campbell Bay Area by the karyakartas of Bharatiya Janata Party who were on bike. After the rally Mr. Ajoy Bairagi and Mr. N.K Udhaya Kumar visited Community Hall, Campbell Bay where a grand reception and meeting was organised for them.
Hundreds of karyakartas of Bharatiya Janata Party from Great Nicobar Island gathered in the Community Hall, Campbell Bay to meet their State President and State President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The programme started by welcoming the guests Mr. Ajoy Bairagi and Mr. N.K Udhaya Kumar in a traditional way by tilak. During the Programme Mr. E.S Rajesh, District President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Nicobar District delivered the welcome address. Mr. N.K Udhaya Kumar delivered his address right after the welcome speech. Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh spoke next and welcomed the dignitaries to Campbell Bay, he also spoke about the failures of the opposition party especially Indian National Congress. Mr. Ajoy Bairagi gave the presidential address right after. Mr. Ajoy Bairagi during his speech spoke about the reforms that the Central Govt has been bringing under the leadership of Mr. Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. The vote of thanks on the occasion was presented by Mr. K C Murugan, President, Mondal Committee BJP, Campbell Bay, Great Nicobar. During the function several local leaders and karyakartas welcomed the guests Mr. Ajoy Bairagi and Mr. N K Udhaya Kumar with garlands and shawls.
Three youths of Great Nicobar some of which were workers of Indian Youth Congress and Indian National Congress joined Bharatiya Janata Party during the occasion. Mr. Paparao a young and dynamic youth from Fishermen Colony, Rajiv Nagar, Mr. Kripanandan, A youth leader from Gandhi Nagar and Sumit, a youngster from Gandhi Nagar were among those who joined Bharatiya Janata Party.
Mr. Ajoy Bairagi and Mr. N.K Udhaya Kumar were escorted back to Jetty and they sailed for Port Blair right after.
