Port Blair, Sept 14: The A & N State Cooperative Bank has organised a Consumer Loan Mela on 14th Sept, 2020 at its Conference Hall for its Port Blair branch. A total of 23 customers have been benefitted under the scheme.
Shri. V. Masher, General Manager, NABARD was the Chief Guest on the Occasion. The Programme was also attended by Shri. K. Murugan, Managing Director in presence of Shri. Anjan Sengupta, DGM (Bkg) and Shri. M K Rajan Kunju, DGM (F & A).
Shri. Anjan Sengupta, DGM (Bkg) welcomed the delegates followed by a glance on the highlight of the scheme. At the Outset, Shri. K. Murugan, MD informed that the ANSCB has taken various measures to full fill the request of their customers. Very recently the Bank has taken an initiative to provide Two Wheelers loan which was highly appreciated by the customers and Islanders. In order to continue the rhythm and to provide financial assistance to the people, a Consumer Durable Loan is introduced for easier accessibility of household items like Personal Computers, Laptops, Smart phones, Washing machine, Refrigerators, Home Theatre Systems, etc for the common man.
Shri. V. Masher, General Manager, NABARD in his keynote address opined that the ANSCB is working for the overall development of the Islands. The bank has started to touch the lives of the islanders through this kind of innovative disbursement of Consumer durable loan to the customer of the bank. The ANSCB made easy to the customer to purchase Consumer durables in a reasonable interest rate without any margin money, for which he is grateful to the bank. He appreciated the Managing Director for implementation of such innovative schemes. He further urged all the customers to popularize the scheme and avail the financial assistance from the bank.
