A Reviews Preparedness of naval Airstation on Indian Navy P-8i Aircraft

Port Blair, July 09: Lieutenant General Ajai Singh, AVSM, Commander-in-Chief Andaman and Nicobar Command (CINCAN) reviewed the preparedness of the Naval Air Station under the Naval Component of ANC at INS Utkrosh. Besides a detailed briefing on Naval air operations, the General Officer reviewed maritime air surveillance capability during a sortie from on board the Navy’s P-8I Long Range Multi-mission Maritime Patrol Aircraft.

Whilst expressing his satisfaction at the high level of preparedness, the General Officer emphasized the importance of surveillance and the effectiveness of the Maritime Patrol Aircraft as a force multiplier with its ability to swing the direction of battle decisively in our favour.

CINCAN called upon all personnel to remain combat ready and prepared to take on any task in service of the nation. He also commended meritorious personnel from the Naval Component.
