Port Blair, Apr 04: ABVP Andaman & Nicobar unit raised the issue shifting Dumping Ground of Brookshabad village to any other location & establishing garbage recycle plant for the benefit of agriculture economy and infrastructure.
ABVP Andaman in a letter addressing the Secretary, PBMC conveyed this problem of Brookshabad village as many local residents of said region are suffering from polluted and toxic environment. ABVP Andaman organized had organized a village program in Brookshabad namely “Chalo Gao Ki Or” in previous month of January. In which the local residence complained about the smoggy atmosphere due to Dumping Ground. In this letter ABVP also suggested PBMC for recycling the garbage.
