Port Blair, Sept 1: The Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry facilitates establishment of 200 bedded Covid Care Centre of the A&N Administration at JNRM and at Girls School Auditorium.
134 beds have been provided at JNRM and 56 beds at Girls School. ACCI yesterday handed over the completed facility crated in which they provided beds, side tables, mattress, pillow, bed cover, blankets, dustbins and water buckets. The beds and side tables are made of sustainable materials and were sourced from Company called Morya of Pune.
Beds like these are now being used throughout the country to set up Covid Care Centre as these are low cost, light weight, sustainable and easy to set up. The facility was handed over to the Administration in the Presence of Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner (South Andaman), Mr. S. Chaudhary, ADM and Mr. Hari Kallikkat, SDM.
