Port Blair, Oct 18: Anganwadi Centre at Ograbraj village under Gram Panchayat Mithakhari was inaugurated by Smti. Geethika Sharma, Secretary (Social Welfare) on dated 17/10/2019 in presence of Shri. P.C. James, Programme Officer, ICDS, Smti. Irene Nicolas, CDPO Ferrargunj, Shri. Sanjib Kr. Mandal Ex-Adhyaksh Zilla Parishad, Smti. Suhara Bibi PSM, Shri. Krishna Kumar Assistant Engineer (APWD), Shri. Bala Junior Engineer (APWD), Shri. Mohd. Safiq, Pradhan and all PRI members and staffs of Gram Panchayat Mithakhari.
Pradhan Shri. Mohd. Safiq thanked the Secretary Social Welfare for completing the very long pending demand of Ograbraj village for the Anganwadi Centre which will facilitate 20 to 25 families. The Chief Guest appreciated the Anganwadi workers of Gram Panchayat Mithakhari for their selfless work done by them and also visited various Anganwadis of the Panchayat. She also motivated the gathering on achieving the goal by team work.
Pradhan Shri. Mohd. Safiq requested for new Anganwadi centre at Kader Tekrey at Ograbraj village. The Chief Guest gave assurance to look into the matter and do the very needful for benefit of general public of Gram Panchayat Mithakhari.
The programme was ended with vote of thanks of Pradhan who thanked all the dignities present and villagers who came forward in laying the foundation of Anganwadi Centre at Ograbraj village.
