Anthropology gaining academic momentum

Port Blair, July 23: Anthropology is the study of human being in time and space. The anthropology subject is much relevant educational qualification for the youth of A & N Islands.  Having varieties of tribals in ANI, there is a need to have in-depth understanding involving holistic approach of anthropology, using theoretical and practical techniques. The MA in Anthropology and BA in Anthropology offered by the Indira Gandhi National Open University are gaining popularity among the students in the ANI. Session -after- session, the growth in admission, in anthropology subject is being noticed.
