Electoral Literacy Clubs (ELCs) shall also steer the NVD celebrations in Educational Institutions. Chunav Pathshala at polling stations shall act as the hub for pre-NVD activities and shall be roped in for the NVD functions at the PS level.

Special Summary Revision–2020, 10th NVD and Tableau Presentation on Republic Day parade and carrying out the SVEEP activities across the Islands will be major highlights to promote greater participation of people in the democratic process. I, therefore, appeal to all the eligible voters especially the youths in the age group of 18-19 years and PwDs to take active part in the 10th NVD generously being organised in this UT to make success of the function and to fulfill the theme of Commission “Electoral Literacy for Stronger Democracy”. I also request all political parties and press media to extend their full support and cooperation in this regard.
