Port Blair, Jul 06: The Bharatiya Janata Party, A&N Islands celebrated the 121st Birth Anniversary of National Scholar and Founder of Jan SanghDr.Shyama Prasad Mukerjee on 06th July 2022. A floral tribute was paid to the statue of Dr.Shyama Prasad Mukerjee at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Park, Y Narayan Junction, Aberdeen Bazaar. Similarly, a function was also held at Dr.Shyama Prasad MookerjeeBhawan, Middle Point, State Office of Bharatiya Janata Party.
Both the programme was marked with the presence of Mr. Dilip Ghosh, Member of Parliament, Medinipur, West Bengal and National Vice President BJP, Mr. Aravind Menon, National Secretary BJP, Mr. AjoyBairagi, State President BJP, Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member BJP, Mr. BishnuPada Ray, Former Member of Parliament, A&N Islands along with State Office Bearers, Morcha Office Bearers, District Office Bearers and other Party workers.
Mr. AjoyBairagi welcomed the National leaders after which Mr. Dilip Ghosh and Mr. Arvind Menon addressed the Party Workers and spoke about the Sacrifice and Contribution of Dr.Shyama Prasad Mukherjee in making the party and for the Nation.
Mr. Dilip Ghosh also told that the present government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has fulfilled the vision of Dr.Shyama Prasad Mukherjee in many ways.
He also urged the party workers to take various schemes of central the government which is directly benefiting the public to each and every citizen of the Islands.
