COAST GUARD CONDUCTS DRAWING AND PAINTING COMPETITION

Port Blair, Jan 16: As a part of 43rdCoast Guard Raising Day Celebrations, Indian Coast Guard conducted a Drawing and Painting Competition-2020for school children on 16 Jan 2020 under the theme of “Developing Personality through Creativity”. The aim of the event was to promote talent, creativity, spirit of competition and awareness about Indian Coast Guard amongst young generation. Mr Vijay Kumar, Principal Kendriya Vidhyalaya No-2 was the Chief Guest for the event.

The ladies from Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association were also part of the event. The event witness large participation by girls and boys from different school. A total of 133children from different schools participated in the event. The children were divided into three categories i.e A (class III-V), B (Class VI-VIII) and C (class IX-XII). Different topics were given to the upcoming artists. Kendriya Vidhyalaya No-2 scored 1st Position in all the categoriesand also remained overall winner in the event.
