Port Blair, July 27: Inspector General Dinesh Rajaputhran, Tatrakshak Medal, Commander Coast Guard Region (Andaman & Nicobar) post assuming the command, made a maiden visit to Coast Guard District Headquarters No. 9 (North & Middle Andaman), Diglipur and Indian Coast Guard Station Mayabunder from 22 to 24 Jul 21.
During the visit the Flag Officer reviewed the progress of ongoing infrastructure development and upcoming projects in Coast Guard District Headquarters No. 9 and Coast Guard Station Mayabunder. The Regional Commander was briefed about the operational readiness of Ship’s and units based at Diglipur and Mayabunder.
The Flag Officer interacted with service and civilian personnel borne in the Headquarters and units under command and emphasized the need to work with utmost synergy & comradeship with all stake-holders & complimented Officers and personnel for maintaining the operational readiness despite challenges posed by pandemic.
