Death of Shri Yusoof Jadwet Mourned by Congress, BJP & TDC

Port Blair, May 30: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament and President, Pradesh Congress Committee, Andaman & Nicobar Islands along with all senior leaders of Pradesh Congress Committee have deeply mourned the untimely demise of Shri Yusoof Jadwet, Managing Director of the Tribal Cooperative Society EHL (Ellen Hinengo Limited) for almost 40 years who left for heavenly abode on 29/05/2021 and pray to Almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul and courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss.

“Shri Yusoof Jadwet a real legend by all means who contributed all his life for the overall development of  Nicobarese Community and shall always be remembered by one and all forever. In his life span he was awarded with many National and International Awards for his contribution,” a release from Member of Parliament said here today.

Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands along with all BJP workers of the party have also deeply condoled the demise of Shri. Yusoof Jadwet R/o Marine Hill, Port Blair (Ex-MD of EHL). “ With his death, the Islands have lost a legendary leader who deeply cared for the Nicobari Tribal Community,” a release said here.

Meanwhile, The Managing Committee and members of the Tribal Development Council, A&N Islands have expressed their deepest condolences on the passing away of Shri. Yusoof Jadwet on Saturday evening at 6:49 pm (29th May 2021) in Port Blair.

“Mr. Yusoof Jadwet had maintained very close ties with the Rani Family of Nancowry since over four decades and he always stood by the Family in times of happiness and needs.  The sad demise of Mr. Yusoof Jadwet is also being mourned by Rani Fathima, Mr. Rashid Yusoof, President, Nicobar Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Smti. Aysha Majid, Chairperson, Tribal Council, Nancowry and all members of Nicobar Youth Association who have expressed their heartfelt condolences. The members pray to the Almighty for eternal rest of the departed soul and courage for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss,” a release issued by TDC said here today.
