Port Blair, Aug 17: A media delegation led by Mr. K Ganeshan, President, Daily Newspaper Association(DNA) met the Chief Secretary, Mr. Keshav Chandra on Wednesday in his chamber and discussed various issues concerning the local media. Assuring to look into the issues raised by the DNA delegation, the Chief Secretary said that media plays a very positive role in the society by raising public related issues. He informed that the administration has been taking note of news reports published in the print media. Mr. Vijay Kr. Roy, Editor-in-Chief, The Echo of India and Mr. SanjibKumar Roy, Editor, Andaman Sheekha were also present.
