Port Blair Oct 11: ICAR-Central Island Agricultural Research Institute, Port Blair and ANGRAU organised Institutional Development Plan (IDP) under World Bank funded project on“National Training Programme on Sustainable Integrated Farming Systems for Coastal Eco-regions of India” is getting concluded on 14th October, 2019, which is attended by thirty B.Sc (Ag.) students representing from Agricultural colleges,i.e Mahanadi (4 nos), Agricultural College, Naira (6 Nos), Agricultural College, Bapatla(10 nos.) and Dr. NTR College of Agricultural Engineering, Bapatla (10 No) from 24th September, 2019. Dr. M. Ariz Ahmed , IAS, Managing Director (MD), National Horticulture Board (NHB), Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Gurgoan will be the Chief guest on 14th October, 2019 at 2.00 pm for the valedictory function at Dr. T.R. Dutta Conference hall of CIARI. Dr. V. Damodar Naidu, Vice Chancellor, ANGARU, Amravati, Andhra Pradesh will be distinguished guest and Dr. B. Gangaiah, Director, CIARI and Course Director, IDP will preside over the programme. Dr. M. Ariz Ahmed, MD, NHB in the forenoon will be addressing and interacting with the students on National Horticulture Board activities and in the evening will be attending the official meet with the Chief Secretary and the Secretary (Agriculture), A & N Administration.
