Port Blair, March 04:To inculcate road safety awareness among the local tribals of Teressa, a mega drive to provide learner’s licence has been organized at PS Teressa in association with State Transport Authority, ShriUdaiyappan,RTOCar Nicobar,Nicobar District,on 03-04/03/2020.
The local public turned out in large numbers to avail this opportunity.
The mela was organised in PS Teressa Complex and the test for learner’s licence was conducted in PS Teressa itself.
More than 55 people benefitted from this drive. Local public appreciated the initiative of Nicobar District Police which was organized by SI PM Krishna Kumar, SHO PS Teressa assisted by SI DhirajKishen and all PS staff under the supervision of DySPPrashantChoudharySDPO(Car Nicobar) and under the overall supervision of Shri. Rajeev Kumar, Superintendent of Police, Nicobar District.
