Port Blair, Jan.9: The Directorate of Social Welfare is implementing various schemes in the Islands for the welfare of Divyangjans in their day-to-day activities. Accordingly, the Directorate is issuing UDID Cards to Divyangjans, which will Act as a single document to avail benefits in Pan India. Besides, the Directorate also provides Disability Allowances @ Rs. 2,500/- per month to Divyangjans and also provides aids and appliances to them under ADIP Scheme.
Divyangjans, who intend to avail the above mentioned facilities, may approach the Directorate of Social Welfare.
