Port Blair, Mar 31: The District Level Centre for Women (DLCW) under District Administration, South Andaman and State Resource Centre for Women (SRCW) under the Directorate of Social Welfare in collaboration with Directorate of Health Services organized an Enrolment-cum-Awareness campaign at the Community Hall, Wandoor .
The Research Officer, SRCW, imparted the gathering about the various women centric schemes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Dulari Scheme, Sukanaya Samridhi Yojana etc.
Further, the District Coordinators, DLCW, SA facilitated enrolment under different schemes like Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, Dulari Scheme and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana.
Altogether 30 number of rural women participated in the awareness programme and 15 women folk enrolled themselves under various schemes of Dulari and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. Various issues of Old Age Pension and Widow Pension were also redressed in the awareness camp.
