Port Blair, Aug 28: On the initiative of Tourism Department and ANIIDCO in association with Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI) and Vistara Airlines, a FAM (Familiarization) tour of Travel Agents & Tour Operators has been organized for Andaman & Nicobar Islands. 12 leading Travel Agents & Tour Operators from eastern India have arrived Port Blair on the FAM tour. The Travel Agents & Tour Operators will be visiting various tourist attractions in Havelock, Neil and Port Blair.
The FAM tour would create awareness about tourist attractions in the Islands and help promoting the destination. The Travel Agents & Tour Operators shall also be interacting with various stakeholders of the tourism industry during their visit to the Island.
