Port Blair, Jan 31: The Port Blair Municipal Council bid farewell to two employees of the Council, who superannuated from government service. At a simple function held on 31st January, 2023 in the conference hall of the Council Mr. Aziz-Ur-Rahman, Senior Vice Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council handed over all the retirement benefits including GPF, Gratuity and other monetary benefits to the retiring employees. In his address the Sr. Vice Chairperson recalled the valuable services rendered by them to the Council and wished them a happy and healthy post retired life. Mementoes were also presented to the retiring employees. The employees who retired are viz Mrs. P, Chinamma, Lineman (attached to JE-I(WW) and Mr. Rajaram, HVD Gr.II (attached to Mechanical Section), PBMC.
