Port Blair, Sept 21: Nehru Yuva Kendra organised Fit India freedom run 2.0 in collaboration with WITH YOU (NGO) at Bambooflat on 18.09.2021. The run started from Bambooflat jetty to GSS School, Bambooflat. The pledge was administered to the participants by Miss V K Mariyam Bibi, President, WITH YOU, ( NGO). Thereafter Mr. Sameer, SHO, Bambooflat who was the Chief Guest had flagged off the rally.
Certificates were distributed to all the participants in a function held in the conference hall of GSSS Bambooflat. Smti Shoba, Princpal of GSS School, Bambooflat, Mr. Sundaram, ex zilla Parishad member, Shorepoint, Smti Rasheeda ex Pradhan, Hopetown, Mr. Rajkumar, Chairman SMC and Mr. Purusotham, Nation Chess orbiter also Graced the occasion and encouraged the students to do the exercise daily atleast for half an hour so that they can stay fit and healthy. Mr. Samsuddin, NGO volunteer proposed the vote of thanks.
