On the joyous occasion of Holi, I have great pleasure to extend my greetings and good wishes to the people of these islands. May this unique festival of colours, bring joy and happiness and foster the spirit of unity and harmony amongst us. The festival of colours Holi, celebrated with traditional fervour and enthusiasm throughout the Islands, is a celebration of the victory of good over evil. It is a festival that expresses joy, friendship and hospitality. May this festival bring peace, harmony, prosperity and happiness in our lives and strengthen the spirit of unity among us so that we can contribute our mite towards the all round development of our islands.
I request all to celebrate the festival with all safety measures and not to disturb any animals.
