Port Blair, June 20: Mr. N Venkat Ramana, Vice President, Hindu Rashtra Shakti of Ward No. 19 and Mr. Prakash Adhikari, Executive Member of Guptapara are helping the elderly people by visiting various offices to complete complicated documentation works, so that the elderly people receive benefits of various schemes.
Today, Mr. N Venkat Ramana collected more than 24 forms of widow pension & senior Citizen pension with proper documents and same was handed over to the concerned Anganwadi of their respective area. People in their twilight years complain of feeling “isolated” and experience “loneliness” and hence HRS team started visiting their home and delivering medicine and helping them in office / bank work.
