IGNOU Books for Students with Print Disabilities

Port Blair, Apr 30: To facilitate the persons who have blindness, weak eye sight or any other disability to read the standard print, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has taken the membership of Sugamya Pustakalaya recently. It has around 3.5 lakhs books in this library. The students (with print disabilities) enrolled in any of IGNOU programme can get access to this library. They will have to login and register for the same through IGNOU library. The information about Sugamya Pustakalya is available on IGNOU website under e-resources. The access to Sugamya Pustakalaya will help the learners with print disability in a big way. Individual registration can be done at https://library.daisyindia.org/NALP/signupLink.action or www.ignou.ac.in.  Student will be intimated by email/SMS when the membership request is approved by IGNOU library. Subsequently, the student can able to login, search and download books from the library.
