IGNOU Exams start on 1st June

Port Blair, May 31: The Term End Examination for June, 2019 of Indira Gandhi National Open University is going to commence from 1st June, 2019 and will conclude on 29th June, 2019. The University has established 910 nationwide examination centres including 16 overseas centres and 123 centres in Jail for jail inmates.  Hall Ticket (Examination Intimation Slips) have been issued to 7,59,380  eligible students who had applied for appearing in the Term End Examination.

In A & N Islands, the IGNOU conducts exams at 7-locations, namely: JNRM,-Port Blair (Ph. Noo.03192-237078), Kendriya Vidyalaya No-1-Port Blair (03192-232411), Hut Bay (03192-284300), Car Nicobar (Ph No. 03193-265037), Kamorta (03192-263225) Campbell Bay (Ph. No.03193-264307) and Mayabunder (Ph. No. 03193-2  76462). All exam centres are functional IGNOU Study Centre. No exams on Sundays. The exam timings are: 10 AM to 1 PM and 2-5 PM. The students may download the Hall Tickets from the University website www.ignou.ac.in and appear in the examination.

Students finding difficulty in downloading Hall Ticket may visit exam centre, 3-days prior to exam, to check the name in examinees list. Nearly 13,500 students will appear in June-2019 exams in entire A & N Islands. Students are advised to be in possession of the valid IGNOU Student Identity Card issued by the University during the Examination.  The mobile phones are not permitted inside the examination hall.
