Port Blair, Oct. 31: Indiatourism Port Blair, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India alongwith Central Industrial Security Force (C.I.S.F) , Unit Port, Port Blair and in support of Port Management Board celebrated National Unity Day / Rashtriya Ekta Diwas by organizing “Run for Unity “ in the morning at a stretch from Phoenix Bay Circle following Sea Shore Road ended at Haddo Gate No. 4.
The Chief Guest of the program was Captain Ashutosh, Chief Port Administrator who also highlighted the importance of the day by giving a strong speech on unity and strength. The civilians joined with enthusiasm and fervor with CISF Jawans and completed the RUN successfully. The program ended with Pleadge Taking Ceremony followed by the Ceremonial Parade by CISF Jawans at Haddo.
