Port Blair, Nov 07: Mr. Vishal Jolly, State President BJP, A&N Islands, written a letter to addressing to the Home Minister, regarding the burning issues in A&N Islands with reference to the vide letter no. BJP/ANI/2019/514 submitted to the Lt. Governor dated 29/10/2019.
He mentioned that, the A&N Administration has arbitrarily fixed the Circle rate of Land coupled with a steep hike in Stamp duty for the territory. He has highlighted that, the orders issued, smack of administrative arrogance and put the ‘Citizen Centric’ approach of the government in the garbage can.
“The result of this misadventure will seriously affect the lower and middle class people by putting paid to their aspiration of “Own Home” thus, putting a fullstop to the dream of our beloved Hon’ble Prime Minister i.e housing for all by 2022,” Jolly mentioned in his letter.
He also stressed on non-availability of quarry products in the territory, extremely bad condition of roads, stoppage of kerosene in territory without introducing sale of commercial Kerosene & without ensuring 100% coverage under Ujjwala Scheme.
