Port Blair, June 15: During this 2nd wave of Covid-19, in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the State Unit of KHV stood by the District Administration and tried extending all kind of help and support to the general public. In this regards Dry ration kits, personal hygiene products were distributed in the areas, Prathrapur, Dollygunj, Brij Gunj, Corbyn Chowk, Chakkargaon, Buniyadabad, Haddo, School Line, Garacharma, Teyrlabad, Bimblitan and towards Chidyatapu. Many requirements were fulfilled on call basis.
Along with distribution of personal hygiene products for women and adolescent girls a very important awareness drive was also conducted on Anaemia.
The State unit of KHV expressed its gratitude towards District Administration for providing us the opportunity to serve the people of Islands.
