Port Blair, Sept 09: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has felicitated following 04 (four) schools in Ferrargunj Tehsil, South Andaman District by presenting a letter of appreciation to the Principals, Teachers and Students for achieving 100% result for Class Xth and XIIth in the Board examination conducted by CBSE during 2020 and expressed sincere gratitude to the teaching faculty for the benevolent services rendered by them for betterment of the students who are futures of A&N Islands and nation as well. The schools achieving cent percent results which were visited by the Member of Parliament on 8th September, 2020 for presenting letter of appreciation are:-
- Govt. Senior Secondary School, Port Mout.
- Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Port Mout.
- Muslim Education Society School, Ograbranj.
- Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Ferrargunj.
The Member of Parliament while presenting letter of appreciation to the above 4 schools, has whole heartedly appreciated the sincerity, efforts and dedication of the Principals and Teachers for making it possible to achieve 100% results in these schools which are located at remote area of South Andaman district and are primarily attended by the students belonging to economically weaker section of the society.
The felicitation programme for the remaining schools who secured 100% result for Class X and XII in the Islands will be done subsequently in due course of time.
