Mini RCH Camp at PHC Havelock

Port Blair, Aug 28: The District Administration through its District Health Society (SA) under Union Territory Health Mission, A & N Islands in coordination with Directorate of Health Services has organized Mini RCH Camp at PHC Havelock on 24th August 2018. Ms. Shika Rani Mistri, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Shyam Nagar inaugurated the camp along with Mr. B. Nagendra, District Programme Manager, District Health Society (SA) and Dr. Sankar Saha, In charge of Medical Officer, PHC Havelock.
Further, Pradhan asked the gathering to avail the special health care services. She also thanked the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman and DHS for organizing such camp for benefit of villagers.

Earlier, District Programme Manager, District Health Society (SA) informed that in order to provide Reproductive & Child Health care services in the doorsteps of the community level DHS (SA) is being conducting the Mini RCH camp regularly.

Altogether, 105 cases were screened in the medical camp, out of which 33 cases by Dr. Kusum Kunwar, Gynecologist (NHM), 36 cases by Dr. Shivanand Pimparwar, Pediatrician (NHM) and 36 general cases by Dr. S. Ajay Raj, Asst. Prof. Community Medicine, ANIIMS.

It is also inform that similar type of health camp is being scheduled on 29th August 2018 at PHC R.K Pur, Little Andaman. The general public of Little Andaman are requested to avail the specialist services of Gynecologist and Pediatrician in said camp from 12.00 noon onwards.
