Port Blair, June 29: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament has welcomed the decision taken by the Administration on giving further relaxation in lockdown from 6 am to 3 pm which is a great help for the daily earners as well as traders.
He has requested the Chief Secretary to increase the ferry service in between Bambooflat to Chatham frequently during 6 am to 10 am and 1 PM to 3 PM without insisting for E-pass from the commuters who are availing the facility. He has further requested that the connecting buses to various destinations from Bambooflat Jetty and Chatham Jetty may also be made available frequently as per the boat schedule to ease the difficulties faced by the people of Bambooflat and surrounding areas to attend their urgent office, personal works and for treatment at Port Blair.
