MP highlights Wildlife Division Workers with DCF Wildlife Division

Port Blair, Sept 23: A delegation of Forest Wildlife Employees Union led by its President Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament discussed various grievances and demands of the workers of the Wildlife Division with Ms. Nabanita Ganguly, IFS, the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Wildlife Division on 23.09.2021.
Major issues discussed were related to timely payment of monthly salary to the workers and preferably by 1st of every succeeding month, timely payment of pension and pensionary benefits,  timely settlement of claims of the workers pertaining to Leave Travel Concession, Traveling Allowance, Medical Treatment Reimbursement, GPF Withdrawal & Advance etc., payment of Night Duty Allowance, timely & regular issue of pay slip, timely supply of raincoats & gumboots to the workers deployed on Watch & Ward duty, camping and patrolling duty, audit of the  Workers’ Welfare Fund etc.        
After elaborate discussion, the DCF, Wildlife Division has assured the Member of Parliament that the grievances of the workers related to various service matters shall looked into and settled expeditiously as per the provisions of the extant service rules.
