Port Blair, Mar 31: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Secretary (Education), A&N Administration to examine the matter for possibility for declaration of an examination centre for Class Xth students to appear their CBSE examination at Govt. Secondary School, Paschimsagar under Diglipur Tehsil during the academic session 2020-21 to facilitate the students for attending examination without any hardships.
He said that due to non availability of examination centre, the 10th Class students from GSS Paschimsagar were used to appear for examination at the declared centre of Govt. Sr. Secondary School, Kishorinagar since beginning, which is not only far away for them but also inconvenience to the students due to transportation problems in view of remote places. Therefore, the MP suggested exploring the possibilities for declaring the examination centre for Class Xth at GSS Paschimsagar.
