Port Blair, July 27: The National Amateur Online Chess Championship 2021 will be organised by All India Chess Federation from 06 Aug to 08 Aug 2021. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to participate in this Championship. Players who are foreign nationals and who have PIO or OCI card cannot participate.
The Games will be held in Rapid format that follow 15 minutes, plus a 5 second increment per move, per player which held over 11 rounds for three days.
The Tournament will be played at Tornelo platform located on the online chess server at https://www.tornelo.com. under video supervision where the players are being watched by the arbiters through zoom.
Only laptop or desktop computer with Windows OS will be allowed as playing device. (Mobile phones and tabs are strictly not allowed.)
There will be a 50% concession in entry fee for participants from North Eastern states and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Entry & Entry fee will be accepted strictly through online and the Last date of entry is 3rd August, 2021 before 4:00 P.M.
Cash prizes will be awarded to top 10 players in Open & 5 Players in Women amounting to Rs.1,00,000 /- (One Lakh only)
