Port Blair, Jan 12: National Youth Day and Week is scheduled to be organised from 12th January to 19th January 2020. Today, as National Youth Day observed jointly by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Port Blair and Rama Krishna Mission at Rama Krishna Mission premises.
Programme started with Garlanding the portrait of Swamy Vivekananda and a floral tribute was also paid by the Guests Rama Krishna Mission’s Secretary Swamy Prathananand, Dr K. Venketasan Assistant Professor and NSS Officer JNRM, Smti Jharna Roy of Sarda Sangh, Mr. Devesh Ranjan Roy NSRY and other youths.
Another programme, as part of Youth Day, also organised at Ferrargunj Block. A 5 KM Cycle Rally organized at Manarghat village, in which about 50 youths participated. On the occasion Pradhan Mr. Baseer was the chief guest and Mr. Mammu, sport person was Guest of honour. Similar programme was also organized at Collinpur village.
