Port Blair, Sept 26: NSUI State President Mr. M.A Sajid has extended greetings to all Islanders on the occasion of World Tourism Day. He commended those working in the Island’s tourism sector for their contributions in making the sector more resilient and successful.
“Splendid beaches, mist shrouded forests, delectable cuisines and warm people, the Andaman & Nicobar Islands is a pleasant retreat for every traveller” said Mr. Sajid
Following the mantra of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”, Mr. Sajid also welcomed all visitors to experience Andaman & Nicobar Islands, as the UT recovers from the challenges of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
He said, “Every visitor should be treated with warmth and hospitality that Andaman & Nicobar Islands is famous for”. Mr. Sajid also appealed the tourists to engage in sustainable tourism.
