Port Blair, Jul 06: Nehru Yuva Kendra Diglipur celebrated the 121st Birth Anniversary ofDr.Shyma Prasad Mukherjee on 06th July 2022 at Saurab Youth Club campus, Gram Panchayat Madhupur.
A total of 80 members from Sourab youth club Madhupur, DurgaMahilaMondalMadhupur, KaberiMahilaMondal, D. B. Gram and Indra Youth Club, D.B. Gram were present in the programme.
In this programme Mr. Dipanker Mistry, PramukhPanchyatSamityDiglipur was the chief guest, Pradhan and ZillaParisad member of Madhupur were the guest of honor. Garlanding of portrait, lighting the traditional lamp, discussion of life, struggle and message of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee were discussed in the programme.
Beginning of the programme Mr. S.R. Biswas, Deputy Director NYK, Diglipur welcomed the Chief Guest and other guests along with all the participants. The chief guest in his speech spoke on Shyama Prasad Mukharjee’s life struggle and messages.
In the end, an open house discussion was done and refreshments were distributed to guests and participants.
