Port Blair, June 17: Mr. P. Abdul Basheer of Nai Manzil (NGO) has been coordinating with the PHC Wimberly Gunj and CHC Bambooflat in distributing Immunity Boosters to the villagers during the lockdown period. As a measure to reach out to each and every villager, Immunity Boosters are being handed over in bulk quantities to notable persons in different areas viz. 200 Immunity Boosters were handed over to Mr. M.K. Hussain, Ex-Zilla Parishad Member of Stewart Gunj and to Smt. VD Leju, Social Worker & Ex-PRI Member of Hope Town. Villagers may contact them for Immunity Boosters in the respective Panchayats.
Altogether 2000 Immunity Boosters have been distributed by Mr. P. Abdul Basheer till now under the guidance of the health officials. He is also working as a bridge between the Health Centres and the public, thereby facilitating necessary medicines and medical advice to the patients during these testing times.
