Port Blair, June 21: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament on hearing about the suffering of the residents of Katchal and Teresa islands due to the non-functioning of land line as well as mobile connection for the past 1 (one) month, has requested the Chief General Manager, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd., and the Deputy Commissioner (Nicobar) on 21st June 2021 to make all out efforts to reinstall the connections at the earliest to relieve the people of these islands from the present state of despair.
