Port Blair, July 27: The COVID 19 has left millions of families heartbroken as they lost their loved ones due to the virus across the world.
In South Andaman when Smt Meghna Pal Gobind, District Child Protection Officer South Andaman contacted Mr. Mandeep Grewal, President, PBGKR and stated that in our Islands 140 children’s who have either lost their both parents or one of them due to Covid 19 or otherwise are in need to Educational Kits. Acting to which the team PBGKR sponsored all the children with the Educational Kit consisting of Registers, Pen, Pencil, Erasers and File covers.
This kits were handed over to Mr. Hari Kallikkat, SDM , South Andaman in presence of Miss Yashaswini B, IAS(P) , SA and Smt Meghna Pal Gobind,DCPO,SA by Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Gen. Secretary, PBGKR.
“We really wish and pray for strength for the bereaved family members who have lost their loved ones due to COVID19 and will do our best to provide help and serve this children’s as long as we can.” Mr. Grewal Added.
