Port Blair, June 03: Continuing to serve the people and families across the South Andaman’s district, as in the first wave where PBGKR served 75,000+ cooked meals and 1750+ ration kits, NGO continues to serve the people in need around the year.
As the second wave hit the country, and the lockdown was imposed in the Islands, PBGKR served 400+ families with the ration kits since first week of May.
Mr. Mandeep Grewal, President, PBGKR stated “We have been getting calls since we started rendering our services from last lockdown. During the second wave, since the lockdown has been imposed in the islands many people have approached us, we have served people residing in Bambooflat to Tushnabad and around SA. Around 400 kits have been distributed till date and I request everyone who know any family in need can contact us.”
