Port Blair, Sep 10: Rainfall and Fishermen warning has been issued for Andaman and Nicobar Islands for 10th to 12th September 2021.
According to the release on 10th and 11th September heavy rainfall (07-11cm) and thundersquall with (speed reaching 50-60kmph) is likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands along with thunderstorms, Lightning with gusty wind.
On 12th September, lightning with gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Due to strong pressure gradient over North Andaman Sea and adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal wind speed is likely to exceed 45 kmph over north Andaman and adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal from today.09 September 2021. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea along and off North Andaman Sea and East Central Bay of Bengal till 12th September 2021.
