Port Blair, Nov 05: In compliance with the instructions of the Home Minister of India, New Delhi (vide DO letter No. I-19034/04/2019-NI-II dtd. 16-10-2019) Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was celebrated to observe the birth anniversary of Late Sardar Vallabhvai Patel. As per the directive, pledge taking ceremony was organized on 31st October, 2019 at 11:00 AM at ICAR-CIARI under chairmanship of Dr. B. Gangaiah, Director (Acting). Dr. Debasis Bhattacharya, Pr. Scientist, Animal Science Division has coordinated the programme. A total of 59 staff of ICAR-CIARI and 35 school and college students participated in this pledge taking ceremony to reaffirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of our country.
