Secretary (A&C) to inaugurate exhibition ‘Mitti Ke Rang’ today

Port Blair, Jan.10: Kala Kendra Society has been regularly organizing Painting workshops and exhibition, wherein many local artists, professionals and amateur have actively participated. Kala Kendra had recently organized a 10 days long ‘Professional Artists Camp 2019’ at Port Blair from 23rd November to 2nd December, 2019 involving renowned artists of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Altogether 18 renowned artists participated in this camp namely Shri R K Biswas, Shri Aloke Adhikari, Shri Ram Prasad Bhattacharya, Shri Mohan Rao, Shri Parmaswar Rao, Shri S.N. Shreeprakash, Shri D. Neelakantam, Shri Senthil Kumar, Smt. Shampa Ray, Shri Dhruw Nath Singh, Shri Ali Akbar, Shri Mahananda Gomasta, Shri G. Suresh Kumar, Shri Jai Prakash, Dr. Pronob Kumar Sircar, Shri Vijay, Shri Prasanjit Dhauria and Shri Basu Kumar.

Their paintings will now be put up on display in an exhibition ‘Mitti Ke Rang’ at the Art Gallery & Studio, Gandhi Park. Shri Sunil Kumar Singh, Secretary (Art & Culture) will inaugurate the Painting Exhibition on Jan 11, 2020 at 5 pm. The exhibition will remain open for public till Feb.15, 2020 from 4 pm to 7 pm. All art lovers have been invited to attend the inaugural function and appreciate the art works.
