Port Blair, Nov.8: The birth Anniversary of Sir C V Raman was celebrated at Govt. Secondary School Calicut by the Science Centre on Nov 7, 2019. The life history and achievements made by Sir C V Raman was narrated to the students on the occasion. As part of the celebration, the Mobile Science Exhibition Bus fitted with 20 interactive exhibits on popular science was displayed for the students.
Further, a Science demonstration titled ‘Science in Everyday Life’ was organized in which various Science experiments were performed in simple and fun filled way. Students evinced interest in knowing the scientific phenomenon working behind each exhibit and experiments. All the students including teachers witnessed the programme.
The Vice-Principal, GSS Calicut, Smt. Jahan Ara Ali lauded the efforts of the staff of Science Centre for organizing the programme in the school campus.
